All trees and shrubs can benefit greatly from fertilizing.
At Affordable Tree Service we use natural fertilizer called Dr. Bensons natural mix fertilizer, quite possibly the best fertilizer on the market today.
This fertilizer mix is introduced to your tree in 2 ways:
First we spray it on the leaves and on the trunk as a topical fertilizer. This will build up a tree’s health and help fight off disease and bugs. Immediate results occur with this application. The leaves will turn vibrantly green in about 2 weeks and fruit will grow bigger and sweeter.
If your tree has a problem producing fruit this fertilizer is your solution. The very next season your tree will produce so much fruit that you will make sure to call us every year.
If your flowers are falling off soon after developing Dr. Bensons will cure this problem. Dr. Bensons will keep the flowers on your tree or shrub much longer. A tree that normally grows 2 feet per year will develop twice as fast and up to 4 feet per year of new growth are entirely possible.
Discolored bushes and dull green grass can be made bright green and healthy.
The second way fertilizer is introduced to your tree is by a technique called deep root feeding. In this method a machine is used to spray fertilizer with high pressure into the ground. The fertilizer is shot into the ground at such a high pressure that the whole ground is saturated with Dr. Bensons miracle mix.
There are two important times of the year to fertilize.
The first time is when the temperature reaches 80 degrees; or usually in March or April. When fertilizing in these months the fertilizer will be directed to the leaves on your tree. These are the months new leaves are developing and they will be healthier and stronger and more vibrant.
The second time of the year to fertilize is when the temperature begins to fall below 80 degrees. In Las Vegas, this generally occurs in October and November.
When fertilizing in these months the tree’s roots are developing and will grow strong and healthy. They will support your tree much better and drive water to the leaves more effectively.
